Soon after you constructed the Starship Enterprise for me , we sat together again and you glued together a twelve inch plus tall Apollo rocket model[as the moon landings had been not very long before .]-i was overjoyed ,but on the same day my mother smashed the Starship Enterprise , this model also went on the floor and broke .They were both on display in my bedroom on a chest of drawers top. I proudly showed them to my best friends .I never forgave my mother .Thank you dear Dad -happy moments we spent .You never let me down , you had so much kindness and thought for me -you knew what made me happy and that is why i love you always. The best Dad ever a Son could have. It feels like only yesterday you sat opposite me with tube of glue and doing your best to make those models.
